Direct care roles:

Activities WorkerOrganizes social activities, trips, and entertainment for individuals needing care and support. Supports participation in various activities.
Care WorkerProvides support with day-to-day living, including personal care, mobility, meal times, and social activities.
Personal AssistantAssists individuals in living independently, typically in their own home or community.
Rehabilitation WorkerAids individuals in living independently after illness or accident. Assists with housing, finance, social activities, and life skills.
Shared Lives CarerOpens home to include someone needing care and support, either living together or as a daytime visitor.
Advocacy WorkerSupports vulnerable individuals to have their voice heard and ensures their best interests are considered in decision-making.

Regulated Professional roles:

Social WorkerOffers counseling and advocacy, intervening in safeguarding.
Occupational TherapistAids people with disabilities in daily activities and rehabilitation.
Registered NursePerforms clinical tasks for people in nursing homes or the community.
Nursing AssociateWorks to prevent ill health in collaboration with individuals, families, and partners.
Complementary TherapistProvides complementary therapies for emotional distress or psychological issues.

Cook/ Kitchen AssistantPrepares and serves meals in nursing homes or day care centers.
