T Level Health Placements in South Tyneside Adult Social Care

In September, we visited South Tyneside College to speak to their Health and Social Care students about Adult Social Care in our borough. The students will all have practical placements to complete during their various courses, and we were there to support them through the process and understand the importance of working in the sector.

We gave them some information about how many different roles there are, and how we all work together to provide the best for those in South Tyneside who have care and support needs.

Our Career Development Coordinator Victoria, visited the college again in October, to guide the students into their placements and has written a handbook for them with everything they’ll need to know and to help them achieve their learning goals.
