Job Portal launched for Adult Social Care

South Tyneside Care Academy have launched a new platform for those who are looking for work in Adult Social Care in the borough.

The job portal can be viewed here and includes both internal council vacancies and roles with local companies all over South Tyneside.

Development programme for unpaid carers

We have put together development opportunity for anyone over the age of 18, who lives in the borough and support someone within the borough who provide unpaid support and care to someone who has an illness, disability, mental health problem or an addiction. Courses and training include:

• Emergency first aid for carers

• People handling

• Managing your caring role

• Infection prevention and control awareness

• Foundations of Care
